As a business owner, you already know it’s essential to make it easy for your customers to buy from you, no matter what type of business you own. If you run an online business, if you’re not creating a seamless checkout process for your clients, you’re at risk of losing them to other competitors with a simpler process– don’t let them slip away before they even get the chance to be happy customers!
Learn about which tool will work best for your business to enhance the customer experience, boost your sales, and encourage returning customers.
Samcart: Overview
In short, Samcart is a ‘smart’ checkout page tool that takes the selling process to the next level. It’s my personal favorite and what I use in my biz (also, it’s named after me. 😉 ).
A huge draw to Samcart is that they offer beautifully designed product page templates, boosts conversions, and maximize customer value, all while running your business. The best part is that you don’t have to worry about the tech part behind it (it’s super easy to use!) – which is a major win for any online biz owner.
Samcart’s Top Features
Template library
Samcart has a massive template library, from great landing pages and product page templates, to a course area, and digital downloads, making it simple to start selling with this tool, regardless of what types of products you offer.
Beginner Friendly
Samcart is a great shopping cart option for beginners because there is no code required! Their wide variety of templates and integration with a ton of other apps make your processes more seamless, saving you valuable time and energy.
Membership & Subscription Platforms
Samcart is a great option for online business owners who offer courses, coaching, or membership communities. It also provides comprehensive market analysis, order management, tax support, and more.
Integration with other Apps
Samcart has a wide variety of integration with other apps in comparison to Thrivecart, which is a great resource to help you to scale your biz, especially with third-party apps like Zapier.
Cons of Samcart
While Samcart has some amazing features and is easily one of the best e-commerce assistants out there, this kind of done-for-you tech doesn’t come cheap.
Payment plans for this tool include multiple monthly and yearly options. If you want to test Samcart out, there’s a 7-day free trial, and if you opt for an annual plan (paid upfront), you are eligible for a full refund if you change your mind and cancel within 30 days.
While both Samcart and Thrivecart offer integration with various apps, Samcart has fewer options in the payment processor choices. It also does not offer JV Partnership payouts directly.
ThriveCart Overview:
Thrivecart is a checkout page tool that allows you to sell physical and online products and services, including courses, memberships, and more.
This tool offers a great deal of one single payment for lifetime access. Thrivecart’s goal is to create high-converting checkout pages for your online business, whether you are shipping physical products, or solely selling digital products.
Thrivecart is a great fit for e-commerce companies and other online businesses that have multiple digital products, for example, online courses, membership, ebooks, and more.
Thrivecart’s Top Features
Affordable
The biggest pro for me is the price of Thrivecart – You pay a one-time fee for lifetime access – no monthly or yearly payments ever again. However, compared to Samcart, there are fewer features to choose from, but if simple means better for you, you might want to check out Thrivecart first.
Custom Pages
Thrivecart offers custom page building in order to create both sales and product pages that are customized to your business, brand, and message.
Bump Offers
From the checkout page, Thrivecart will feature related products or add-ons that your clients may be interested in, based on the product they’ve selected. This can be a great way to increase sales on autopilot and increase your chances of becoming their one-stop shop to solve your clients’ needs.
Split Testing
Thrivecart allows split testing in order to experiment with different variations of your checkout pages and product pages, to determine which is the most successful in converting leads to paying customers.
Cons of Thrivecart
While Thrivecart may be the superior option for businesses that have many products, there are not as many options for selling services with this tool.
While both Thrivecart and Samcart include templates, Thrivecart is much more limited in this area.
What Samcart and Thrivecart have in common:
Marketing and Reporting
Both platforms offer detailed reporting and marketing features in order for you to better connect with and understand the buyer behavior of your customers so that you can fine-tune your marketing and sales strategy.
Funnels
Both tools allow you to create funnels to track the customer journey and make suggestions in order to increase conversions. Thrivecart offers more advanced functionality here, allowing you to use the same funnel for different products, which can be a major timesaver if your business sells many different products.
The bottom line:
Now more than ever, as online businesses continue to grow and evolve, it’s a top priority to keep your products and services top of mind and keep your customers engaged and ready to buy.
The more customized you can make your messaging and customer experience to serve your ideal clients, the better.
Ideally, when your clients visit your site, you create a lasting impression, so that your clients not only buy from you once, but ultimately become repeat clients and even create referrals for you and your biz.
